We welcome you on the ‘Monastic Escapade’, a tour that takes you to the spiritual sources of Tibetan Buddhism with an introduction to its ancient sects which, as of today, survive only in Spiti. Visit ancient, mystical Gompas and Monasteries nestled at great heights, overlooking magnificent views. Watch colourful prayer-flags flutter in the breeze and spin prayer-wheels as you listen to the humming of Buddhist mantras.

Our tour takes you to Spiti’s major monasteries – Tabo, Dhankar, Ki, Komic, and Kungri. These monasteries shelter ancient secrets, thangkas and treasured literature. Spiti’s well-preserved carvings and statues are marvelous and so are Tibetan arts, crafts, music and dance – which you may experience during festivities.

Set off on the ‘Monastic Escapade’ and follow the Buddhist trail to discover a whole new world of divine bliss under the spell of “Om Mani Padme Hum.”

1	Chandigarh to Narkanda. Evening at leisure.
2	Visit Bhima-Kali Temple at Sarahan and drive to the scenic Kalpa
3	Visit Nako lake enroute to Tabo. Visit museum and relax in the evening
4	Drive to Dhankar and visit monastery. Overnight at Dhankar
5	Visit Kungri Monastery in Pin valley and proceed to Kaza
6	Excursion to Kye Monastery and Kibber – highest inhabited village. Visit Lhalung monastery
7	Excursion to Komic, visit Tangyud monastery. Evening at leisure Kaza
8	Drive via Kunzum Pass and Rohtang Pass to reach Manali
9	Drive to Chandigarh for your onward journey home.
